Dear Alverno Alumna,
Got news? Do you have a story you just have to share?
Welcome to Class Notes! The class notes section of the Alverno magazine and the Alum Online Community is one of the most important vehicles by which Alverno alums stay connected with one another. It's where you read about the latest comings and goings in your class: marriages, births, new jobs, and travels. If you have news that you would like to share with friends and classmates, please let us know by submitting a note.
If you submit a class note between now and December 1st, your name will be entered in a drawing for an Alverno College Alumna t-shirt! (Going forward every month there will be a drawing for cool Alverno gear!)

Find out what your fellow alums are up to these days. Share your news and events by submitting a note today!
Best Regards,
Samantha Sobocinski '04

Thank you in advance for your participation.
Alverno Soccer has Record Breaking Day in Victory over CUC
Alverno College set record after record in an 8-2 triumph over visiting Concordia University Chicago in a Northern Athletics Conference game on October 25th. The Inferno improved to 8-11 overall and 3-8 in the NAC—breaking school records for victories (overall and conference) which they set last season in head coach Brittany Nikolic’s debut at the helm. Nikolic already has the most coaching victories all-time at Alverno with 15 total wins in just her second season.
“It’s very exciting and I’m very happy for the players,” Nikolic said. “They’ve worked hard this season to earn the wins and a lot of them came with a fight. We had to battle, even today. Though the score at the end looked comfortable, I never felt completely comfortable in the game. Concordia has some dangerous players, so we had to keep fighting to put the game away. To set the new record at home was a lot of fun.” To read more, click here. |
