Welcome! This is the Alverno College Information Technology web tutorial. The first web tutorial Basic Computer Skills is supplemented by an Educator course - CIL 100.

This online learning experience is comprised of four modules:

Module 1 - Basic Computer Skills - CIL 100
Module 2 - Email Skills
Module 3 - Information Universe
Module 4 - Research Process

All four modules include:

• learning outcomes
• the module with online exercises
• self assessment

Purpose: The purpose of these modules is to help you develop strong computer and information literacy abilities to succeed in your academic, personal and professional life.
