Spreadsheet software is designed to manipulate numbers. Spreadsheets allow you do mathematical calculations, do statistical analysis, and create graphs and charts. At Alverno we use Excel 2010 as our spreadsheet program
Excel 2010 has a similar navigation to Word. Excel 2010 uses Ribbons to navigate the program, rather than pull down menus. An example of the Home ribbon of Excel is pictured below:
