Word Processing software are programs that you as the user use to manipulate text. You can write papers, format your layout, or basically do ANYTHING with text. At Alverno we use Microsoft Word 2010.

Word 2007 has many capabilities including inserting graphics, making Word Art, using tables, creating end notes and bibliographies, and much, much more!

Word 2010 is somewhat different from other versions of Word.

Word 2010 uses Ribbons to navigate the program, rather than pull down menus. The ribbon of Word is pictured below:
