In this tutorial, you will learn about the Internet and the World Wide Web (web) and how it works. The tutorial is broken up into sections. You can access the sections, or work through the whole tutorial. The first time through the tutorial, you should work through the tutorial in sequence.

You can access each part through the pull out menu on the Intro to the Web button, or by clicking the underlined section above. Each part of the Introduction to the Web tutorial includes information on the top as well as a short review to assess your knowledge. You continue to view each part of the tutorial by clicking the Next button located at the bottom of the page. You can also use the pull out menu on the Intro to the Web button on the left to quickly go to a specific part.

To return to this page - Click the Intro to the Web Home Page pull out menu option.

You can begin the Introduction to the Web tutorial by clicking the Next button, or by clicking the What is the Internet button from the pull out menu on the Intro to the Web button.
