Using Print Resources
There are different ways to access information depending
on whether you are using a print or online source.
In print sources, information is generally accessed from the TABLE
OF CONTENTS or from the INDEX located
at the back of books (or journal volumes).
Below is an example of the table of contents and an example
of an entry from the subject index of a book about space
stations and platforms.
The table of contents provides you with a BROAD outline of
what's covered in the book. The index provides more detailed
access to the book's contents.
