CLD Electives

The Community Leadership program requires students to complete 15 elective credits as part of their program of studies. Generally, most elective courses come from the areas of business, management, social science, political science, professional communication, and arts and humanities. The completion of service learning internships is a highly valued elective experience. However, our program will consider for elective credit any course completed at Alverno. Courses from other institutions may also be transferred in as elective credit. In some cases professional continuing education may qualify as elective credit. CLD electives require approval of the CLD program coordinator.
