Communication & Mass Media Complete - (Ebsco); Full text for over 160 titles in the areas of communication and mass media studies. There will be searchable citations as well as indexing and abstracting for more than 285 journals. The database will also include monographs, conference proceedings, and working papers.
Consumer Health Complete - (Ebsco via BadgerLink); A comprehensive resource for consumer-oriented health content covering all areas of health and wellness including mainstream medicine as well as complementary, holistic and integrated medicine with topics such as aging, women's health, nutrition & dietetics, and drugs & alcohol.
Contemporary Women's Issues [CWI] - (First Search); Focusing heavily on health and human rights, this database provides full-text access to global information on women in over 150 countries. It indexes books; journals; newsletters; research reports from non-profit groups, government and international agencies; and fact sheets. Included are over 1500 sources going back to 1992.
Contemporary World Music - (Alexander Street Press); Contains the sounds of all regions from every continent. The database will contain important genres such as reggae, worldbeat, neo-traditional, world fusion, Balkanic jazz, African film, Bollywood, Arab swing and jazz, and other genres such as traditional music - Indian classical, fado, flamenco, klezmer, zydeco, gospel, gagaku, and more. Results (not usually full text) from several different databases are presented in categories (such as journal article citations, books, consumer health information, meeting abstracts) rather than by database. A useful option is limiting your search to just one of these categories (such as journals).
