Instructional Technology for PK-12 Settings

Total semester hours: 30

The specialization in instructional technology is designed for teachers in grades PK-12 who want to strengthen their knowledge and pedagogical skill in the application of technology in teaching.

This specialization prepares teachers both to incorporate technology effectively in their own classroom and to work with other teachers to use technology effectively in instruction. Teachers who want to be technology resource persons within their buildings can draw upon the coursework in this specialization to prepare for that role as well.

Candidates complete the core requirements for the Master of Arts as well as 15 credits of electives focusing on instructional technology.
