This site is provided for visitors to share the story of their first rock band. The root experience for rockers, whether famous or unknown, is the excitement of playing loud, energetic music with others. First rock bands are about the freedom to make music without special training and without any authority telling you 
what's musically "right or wrong".

For over 40 years, in every corner of the United States and beyond, rock bands have started up. Please share the story of your first rock band by filling out the survey.
