Psychology Department

Welcome to the Psychology Department

This site is designed for current and prospective students of Psychology. Here, you can find information about the Psychology courses of study: what the requirements are for a major or support in Psychology, what a typical course sequence for a Psychology major looks like, and what the descriptions and prerequisites are for courses in our department.

If you are interested in declaring a Psychology major, please download and fill out the application to the major. Talk to your current advisor about processing the change in major, and bring this form with you when you meet your Psychology advisor for the first time.

If you are interested in learning about the alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) certification program, read this description.

You can use the faculty page to find out how to contact an instructor, or to read more about the background and interests of the Psychology faculty.

You can find out about events that might interest you, from panel discussions about graduate school to Psych Forum meetings to presentations of research by students or faculty.

We've also collected a number of links to useful Psychology resources on the World Wide Web, relating to topics such as the science of Psychology, mental health and illness, and the teaching of Psychology.

If there is information you are looking for, but cannot find on our site, please contact any of the faculty members. We look forward to hearing from you.
