Events and Activities in the Psychology Department

Congratulations May Graduates! The Psychology department congratulates Lindsay Belmore, Tenzin Drongpa, Celina Echeveste, Ruslana Ennis, Melissa Merline, Erica Mravik, Josephina Mwoleka, Tia Orr, Jessica Pendzik, Jenna Schwaulbach, Dana Solveson, Svetlana Stanic, and Annette Wright on their graduation in May. Congratulations as well to Jessica Juarez and Elisabeth Lindquist, who graduated in August.

Graduation reviews required. Students planning to graduate in December are required to submit a graduation review to the Psychology Department. This review will help us continue to improve the program, and also provides valuable information to the faculty as they prepare your narrative transcripts. Psychology (PSY and PDC) majors should use this form; support students should use this one. Email the completed review to department secretary Chris Braden. The deadline is October 27, 2008; failure to meet this deadline may result in a registration hold.

Psi Chi inductions
: Congratulations to the newest members of Psi Chi, the national Psychology Honor Society. Inducted in the Spring of 2008 were Michelle Niquette, Jesse Harrison-Noonan, Toni-Marie Denman, and Anastasia Nedd.

Psi Chi applications are now being accepted. Juniors and Seniors in good standing, who have completed at least 2 upper-level courses in Psychology, are invited to apply. Applications are due Friday, October 10, 2008.
