www.psychologicalscience.org This is the web site for the American Psychological Society, an organization devoted to scientific research on psychological issues. It has a section dedicated to students, as well as summaries of new research reports.

www.apa.org This is the web site for the American Psychological Association, a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. With more than 155,000 members, APA is the largest association of psychologists worldwide.

www.aera.net The American Educational Research Association is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results. Its 20,000 members are educators; administrators; directors of research, testing or evaluation in federal, state and local agencies; counselors; evaluators; graduate students; and behavioral scientists.

www.nimh.nih.gov This is the site of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), which is a component of the U.S. National Institutes of Health. The mission of NIMH is to reduce the burden of mental illness and behavioral disorders through research on mind, brain, and behavior. The site contains information for researchers, practitioners, and the general public, including downloadable resources on specific mental disorders.

teachpsych.lemoyne.edu The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (Division Two of the APA) represents the interests of psychologists in academic institutions from the secondary through the graduate level.

trochim.human.cornell.edu Bill Trochim's Center for Social Research Methods Includes a variety of links and resources, including a program for choosing the correct statistics.
