Changing Your Alverno Passwords

Network Password
To change your password on campus:

1. Log into your computer
2. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL
3. Click Change Password and follow the prompts.

To change your password off campus:

1. Open a web browser and navigate to http://depts.alverno.edu/techserv
2. Click Faculty/Staff Resources or Student Resources
3. Under Accounts & Passwords, click Password Hints / Reset
4. Click Password Reset
5. If you know your password, click yes, and follow the prompts.

If you do not know your password, and if you have previously completed password hints, you can click no and follow the prompts.

How to Change your ODBC Password

• Go to http://intranet.alverno.edu
• Click on Faculty/Staff/Student Information
• Click on Faculty/Staff Tools
• Click on Database Maintenance

How to Change your Password on a Mac

• Click here: Password Reset
  
• Click on the Password Reset button

Datatel

Once you’ve changed your Network password, your Datatel password is automatically changed too.

Educator

1. Login to Educator with your username and current password (www.courses.alverno.edu)
2. Enter any course
3. At the bottom of the page click on the key icon

4. On the next page, enter your new password in the Account Password box
5. Enter it again in the Retype Password box
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Submit



IOL

1. Click on the Log in tab found at the top or bottom of the main menu.
2. Log in.
3. Click on the Change password tab found at the top or bottom of the screen.
4. Enter your User ID and old password.
5. Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again.
   • Your new password must be 6 to 8 characters in length and include both letters and numbers.
6. We recommend that you enter a password hint whenever changing your password.
