New features in Alverno Student Web Mail

Alverno has completed a hardware and software upgrade of our Student Web Mail.

New features include:

• More space! Students now have 125 MB of space alloted for email.
• A new color scheme
• Ability to compose an email message in HTML (allows you to format the text of your message)
• One-click attachments. No need to click Attach after browsing.
• Reminder if you forget to include a Subject to your email
• Ability to view multiple messages on one screen
• Ability to preview attachments while composing an email
• Ability to preview messages (requires previous setup in Options)
• Ability to download all attachments as a single zip file
• Option to confirmation sent email
• Messages are no longer lost when an email session times out
• Graphical representation of thread on thread view screen
• View all messages of a thread
• Additional mime viewers for attachments
• Option to not save attachments with sent email
• Navigation through message and mailbox views using arrow keys
• Priority options for composed messages
• Ability to forward multiple messages at once
