New Student Orientations

New Alverno students receive a network account as well as accounts for student email, Educator (course management software), Diagnostic Digital Portfolio (DDP) and Interactive Online (IOL).

During New Student Orientations a video is shown that highlights technology resources available to Alverno students. NOTE: This link is only available while on campus. Account information is distributed and students receive hands-on instruction for changing passwords, email, DDP, Educator, and IOL.

A Student Technology Ready Reference is also distributed. The Reference is a handy guide for all students that describes resources available to students and if access is available from off campus. The Reference also includes Technology Tips and provides a link to Alverno's Technology Use Policies.
