Wireless Access on Campus

Wireless Internet access is available at several locations on Alverno's campus.

Both Christopher Hall and Clare Hall have been added to our list of locations on Alverno's campus with wireless access. To access wireless in both locations, you will need an Alverno network username and password. Other campus wireless locations do not require a login.

System Requirements

A wireless card and Windows XP, Vista or Macintosh OS X (10.3 or higher) are required to connect.

Wireless Access Locations

Wireless Access is available on the Alverno Campus at the following locations:

• Austin Hall Pipeline
• Austin Hall Mug
• Christopher Hall (must have an Alverno network account to access)
• Clare Hall (must have an Alverno network account to access)
• Commons (East and West)
• Computer Center
• Kellogg A
• LA 3rd floor off elevator
• Library (LA 210, LA 217 and the Reference Area)
• TL Conference Center (East and West)
• 2nd floor near gym (right outside of fitness center)

Access to the following is available:

• The WWW
• Student email
• IOL
• Educator
• DDP
• Printing to an Alverno network printer from a PC (if you have an Alverno network account)
• Directions for accessing a student's H: drive on a PC are available.
• Directions for accessing a faculty/staff's N: or U: drive on a PC are available. Directions for a Mac are also available.
